Leveraging on our strength as an international city and the opportunities arising from the “One country, Two systems”, we aim to develop Hong Kong as a global financial centre, asset management centre and offshore RMB business centre attracting capital and talent from within and outside the country. The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau works closely together with market regulators and participants to strengthen our role as an international financial centre.

On the Treasury front, we formulate and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective control and management of public revenues and expenditure.
